What gains can I expect with a green S/C wheel?
Seriously thinking about this as my next mod. Not keen on changing intake because of the amount of time I spend in rough seas
Before taking the plunge I wondered if you guys could give me an idea what gains I can expect?
Also anyone know the cost of shipping over to the UK?
Cheers guys

Sorry, I stopped reading that around the point pink thongs came up....
I'd appreciate oppinions on how much the stock air intake would limit the improvements?
(and also about getting stuff over here)

In my experience 18-20 lb packages to england are generally $110-145 depending on how fast you want them.

funny you should say that, Jfizzle has just shipped me an intercooler kit and Jerry has just shipped me a green impeller.
I'm in surrey, uk, these 2 items were MUCH cheaper than anything I can get over here shipping included.

I think it's close the the RR wheel, which is worth about 2 psi boost and 2 mph.

IF you can get it on plane you can pull 3-4 mph more with prop changes.

Good first mod?
Our RXT is basically standard,in terms of engine. We aren't keen to do any intake mods as we ride almost exclusivley in the sea and the ski does get "buried" at times. From everything wev'e read, the SC wheel looks like a good mod for us???
Presumably, we should also change the needle roller and sc bearings at the same time (108 hrs on ski)?
With a standard intake (and IC), do we also need to change the Pump impellor as well (only just changed it for another standard pitch, unfortunatley!) - we don't have the ability to bend the prop and can't get Jerry to do it 'cause we're in the UK.
... or is there anything else we should do first? (already have Rideplate filled, Metal washers, 500 gph Bilge pump, Boost gauge, OPAS lifted, finger throttle, Riva intake grate).
Thanks!
