98 XPL Coffmans Exhaust water lines ???
I have got hold of a 2nd hand pipe and have installed it except for the water lines. As I dont have any diagrams just the written instructions, My questions are :
1) The water line that was under the stock exhaust pipe (near oil pump) that now goes to position (A) see photo.
2)The water line (Pisser) that went from the stock exhaust pipe above the rear carby now goes to position (E) see photo.
3)You remove the rear exhaust muffler water fitting and block up hole with brass plug. (pipes dont connect to anything)
4)I have an existing water injection set up (les cooke) controlled through the Mpem its on all the time and turns off at 5700 revs works well. The valve (X) see photo does that go to fitting (T)see photo through a 135 jet installed in the pipe fitting.
5)It has another fitting that I have removed (H) see photo and blocked it off with a brass plug is this just another water injection point .
6)How does the pipe get cooled (internally)if my water injection is turned off at 5700 revs when I want this to rev to 7300-7400 revs ?
Your input would be most welcomed .

Sounds like it broke a piston skirt or a rod. Eitherway, not good. You say...
