2003 R-12X Help!!!
Long story short......
We have a 2003 that's running rough, stalling, and hard to start. First, we did new plugs, oil change and Wastegate system inspection. Then we did a compression check. And found there's 0 psi in Cylinder #2. We pulled the Exhaust Cam and found that a keeper for the 2nd exhaust valve for cyl #2 just laying loose.
If anyone can help me with the fix I would greatly appreciate it. Should we change all the exhaust springs, retainers and keepers?? Just that one Spring, retainer, keeper?? Just the Keeper? What?

I imagine the valve dropped into the cylinder and did major damage to the
pistion and head. A total rebuild will be needed

Nope.....the Valve is still in the Retainer. And there's no damage to the Piston. I have a fiber optic scope and it doesn't appear to be any damage.

the stock springs are junk. i sell a "spring kit" complete with dual springs, harden shims and titanium retainers. good for more than 10,000 RPM and will handle +.100 inches more lift. $485 plus shipping

Jeff, Lovesalvo TheJeffSki or whatever he tries to call himself today.
I understand why you would come here under a assumed name since the people over at PWCT have no clue about your problem, or for that matter the Technical workings of the Honda Ski.
Unfortunately for you, Your NOT welcome here due to your past history with Ski related message forum’s.
We don’t appreciate people logging in under different names and “hiding” behind your Keyboard..
Go back to where you came from..
Bye Jeff… and stop wasting my time.
Shawn
