Digital torque wrench
Does anyone have one of these? Im thinking about buying this just to check the slipping moment of the supercharger clutch.

Jerry, what is the precise procedure for checking the slip moment? Do you have to have something to hold the drive gear or can you just hold the shaft with the shaft holding tool?

To check the slipping moment while the sc is still in the ski you need the camshaft holding tool.
I like to check mine out of the ski and just wrap a rag around the gear and carefully place it in the vice. You have to hold JUST the gear then you can put the wrench on the impeller nut and check for slippage.
It's a big misconception to hold the shaft and you cannot get the clutch to slip that way. Its actually the gear that slips/spins on the shaft (hence the need for the needle bearings) and the ceramic disks hold friction on the gear to keep it from spinning/slipping.
