And so it begins....
I could not stand it any longer. Anything in it's stock form will annoy me sooner or later. Regarding the new ski....alot sooner than I had expected. Picked up a few goodies from Jerry (heck of a nice guy and thanks again btw!) and just finished installing them. Riva intake grate, Riva power filter kit, Riva pro OPAS blockoffs, and a Solus 14/19. Yep, I admit....another one of Jerry's kids has arrived.
Overall, the parts went on quite easliy, except that dang power filter kit. I am amazed at how much room it created in the engine bay once the OE air cleaner assembly was removed. On the down side, I've been sitting here the past few hours picking fiberglass from my arms.
Anyways, we gps'd the ski while it was still stock this past weekend with runs averaging in the upper 68's and did manage to hit 69.5 once. I'm a 145lb rider(no munchkin jokes please), trim was ticked up a bit from neutral, water was butter smooth, no wind, water temp was 86, ambient temp was in the lower 90's, and rmps were 7940-7980. I can't wait to see if this ski will finally break into the 70's when we put it back on the water today.
Also, yes I know I need to do the SC update, so I'll save yall alot of typing on that issue.
I'll report back this evening with the results.

Thanks Steve.
mxl, I'm in a lil town named Wilson. It's about 40 miles east of Raleigh.
Well, did some testing today, but the local spot was full of heavy chop and the wind was dang near blowing a gale. Squeeked out an average of 71. Top speeds were all over the place. I'll try again this coming weekend.
On the bright side, there are several RXP owners out there that are quite unhappy with me right now.

I'll keep that in mind mxl.
Pet: Yes, it has full nav capabilities, bluecharts, etc....but it does NOT come preloaded with detailed maps. You have to purchase Mapsource.
I picked that particular unit up for around 3 bills.
