Carb rebuild/cleaning question
Well I've cleaned the carbs and I'm ready to reassemble. I know I need 1 o-ring (fuel inlet side) and 1 diaphram but everything else looks go to go. I don't see a need to buy 3 rebuild kits ($$$) so my question is are there any parts that must be replaced anytime you crack the carbs open?

It's probably a good idea to do the needle/seat assemblies if there is a slight groove in the rubber tip on the needle.
I know Randy sells all the parts individually.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check them before ordering. What about the o-rings on the jets and adjusting screws? Should they be replaved no matter what?
I'm in hardcore shopping mode as I type. I have several websites open and Randy's is one of them. I'm trying to stay with GH vendors and members whenever possible. I'm also trying to figure out how to get everything I need from as few different places as possible

Good Point on the adjusting screws, I didn't even look at mine the last time out and I doubt they need it............I'm going to replace them just because you mentioned it.

Randy has way more stuff than is on his web site. If you need it he might have it. One stop shop.

Are there O rings under the jets? The repair manual said there is, there were none when I opened up the carbs, and none came in the rebuild kit (for jets). The O rings for the adj screws did though.

I misspoke earlier. I just went and checked and I don't have o-rings under the jets, just on the adj. screws and the needle valve.
I then checked an exploded view on the net here http://www.atlanticjetsports.com/pdf...ebuild-kit.pdf
and don't see them either. What manual are you useing?Last edited by Tony; 07-04-2007 at 01:05 PM.
