Drive shaft lube - Info
Here is a pic of the dirve shaft bearing lube point on a F12X. This should be lubed every 10 hours of use, using a marine grade bearing grease. I use Amsoils marine grade grease.
As a side note we need someone to sticky some of these maintance items. As it will make for someone new to the site easy to find basic maitance, and mod. items.

I agree with your interval and this applies to r's as well, but the book states to do it once a year or 100 hours or something. Same goes for oil, plugs are way up there.

to much?
Can you put to much? My 3 seater has 75 hrs, never been greased. Dealer had no idea it was even there! The good side of that is that they said they seldom work on these things!
I shot about 6 pumps in it and quit. Where will excess grease appear if you get to much?
I may ride it a day and shoot a couple more pumps.
Most of you do a couple pumps every 10 hours?

The excess grease purges out of the bearing, so overgreasing won't hurt it. Be sure and use a Marine grease rated for ball/roller bearings, sincce some are not.
