    So I am about to rebuild my engine and will be adding R & D F/A with ADA 40cc 126psi head and Solas X Prop 13/16 pitch. Anyone have a clue on what specs should I start with on the Mikuni SBN's on this waveventure 760?

    I believe the stock settings are 135 (F)/137.5 (R) HSN and 115 LSN on both. Needle valve is 1.5, couldn't find the stock pop off spring size.

    Hi guys. These are the european stock carv settings. Straight from yamaha. All non USA gp1200rs run these carb specs.
    Main 135
    Pilot 92.5
    HS 1=7/8 2=3/4 3= 7/8
    LS 1 = 1&1/4 2= 1&1/2 3= 1&3/4

    Help needed regarding carb settings on gpr 1200.

    i have read Osidebills recipes regarding settings.

    i have 2 pair of carbs laying here, one with 110 low and 120 main jet, the other one with 92,5 low and 135 jet.

    i have a slight bore ca 1230cc, Riva stinger pipe, no choke, primer pump, Riva flame arrestors.

    Riding temp here in cold Sweden would be 18-30*C (65-85 F)


    Any suggestions?

    Stock 1200 choke plates removed

    110 pilots
    125 mains
    1.5 N&S 95 G springs
    Lows 1 turn out
    Highs 1.5 turns out


    1200 GPR single piper ported or not, Flame arrestors, Advent CDI Yam 84 Engine, No accelerator pump
    Stock, Novi modified, Prok Atomizers or RPM modified (Stock Bore)

    110 Pilots
    120 Mains
    1.5 N/s
    95 Gram Spring


    The above settings seem to be the closest to the lightly modified engine you describe. It might be best to start out with the richer 125 main jet and add 1/4 turn out to the settings recommended above. Remember, with most engines it is better to start rich and work towards a leaner setting than to start lean and blow the engine before you can richen the mixture.
