If I`m not mistaken the components are different between the plastic housing and the metal ones...PR...

PR's correct. Very few of the pump's internal parts interchange. The impeller and wear ring are the same on GTX pumps. RXP impellers and wear rings are larger diameter. Find a complete pump or go to your dealer and have them put one together for you. It's expensive, but you'll have all new stuff in it.

I did my 03 2 years ago and worked for the dealer and my cost for parts alone was $560.00. I used my old prop, other than that nothing else was re-useable. I had no choice as I was missing nearly every fin inside the pump housing, so I did the upgrade and I also had all the proper tools to doo it.
