Is this normal?!?!
Ok i have been reading on here about ceramic washers, i hvae them. I ride hard i got my skis in november, we got 3 rxp's. i ride them hard, even giving it gas in the air. I know that's bad, but i dont/didnt pay for them. i know its still my parents money, but its really not a big deal, ok moving on. i have over 55 hours on each ski, with ceramics, and the ski's are fine, oh and my skis hit 73 gps, bone stock, on 93 octane. so is this normal

Like someone else said they go ka-boom from as little as 2 hours to never. When they do go your engine is basically toast if not rebuilt, it is stupid to not replace them asap.

I'm not exactly sure of the age of this guy, but I would like to say no the rest of the generation is not like this kid. In fact I've found out about the ceramic washer problem and replaced it at my cost even though I don't own them.
And to say that you go WOT while in the air is probably the worst thing you can consciously do to your ski. Have some respect, and take care of them and they will take care of you.
By all means have the washers replace to metal.
