Advent 1300 efi ignition/fuel controller
I met with Greg today at Advent and he was nice enough to show me the new 1300 ignition/fuel contoller that is going to be released very soon. This thing is state of the art! Everything can be adjusted though a USB port and your computer. It attaches piggyback to the stock CDI in the front of the ski. The computer program is awesome. He walked me through the program and showed me how easy it is to tune the timing and fuel mapping right from the computer. The most noticeable aspect was the ability to adjust the amounts of fuel per cylinder. There are 6 different fuel adjustment points throughout the rpm range compared to 2 on the RIVA and R&D units. Eveything can be controlled though the remote box that also has a built in tach and exhaust temp sensors. I think this will make a HUGE performance difference on all modified injected GPR's.

He told me within 2 weeks. He has to work out some bugs with the computer progam. The actual unit is finished. He said it has not been tested on a ski yet but has done extensive bench testing.

I saw the units being assemled myself. Greg also walked me thrugh the computer program and showed me how to adjust the at 6 different points through the rpm range. In addition you can add additional fuel on top of the 6 points for each individaul cylinder. The timing is also completely adjustable from the computer. This unit will make the current fuel controllers and keyways obsolete. The remote box has a large display and allows for easy adjustment on the fly while displaying RPM's and exhasut gas temps. Consider the price of a Riva/R&D controller, PET tach, and keyway and your almost there!

I questioned this myself. I know it's been a long time. He told me he started the project shortly after the 1300 was released in 2003. Price for everything including remote box will be $1500 according to Greg. He demonstrated the unit to me for about 45 minutes.

All that work to put my advanced timing keyway in and now this lol.
So this should allow us to bump the rev limiter up?

Yes - it has adjustable rev limiter also. Tripple pipes will now be able to be used with efi. I hope it comes out soon. I'm going to try and get one of the first units once the are ready
