Question for Jerry..
I noticed on the Riva IC setup they put the blow off valve on tube coming out of the super charger. On PPG's setup their blow off valve is ofter the IC entering into the motor. Is this an oversight on one of their behalfs? I thought the blow off valve was to relieve the pressure from the SC.

SC blows into intercooler and then intake manifold.
If pressure gets too important the BOV releases, it doesn't really matter where since the entire system is pressurized.
But an advice everybody should follow, trust the pros, don't trust the bozos.
Hence go with Rotax Racing through a trustworthy dealer like M Underwood or go with Riva.

I noticed you mentioned Riva and Underwood, one of the pics is from PPG. Are you rating PPG in with the pro's?

11 if u are saying trust mark u are saying not to run a BOV as he is against them and even says they will speed failure .. Riva says not only is he dead wrong , they claim his method of testing makes no sense .. i have an email and phone call frommark and buuba rivas tech line about it .. Personally Im sticking with Riva on this subject.. there is no way the BOV could hurt our setups

That was a general remark as who you ought to work with and who you don't, nothing specific on the BOV.
We just had a talk about it and I do agree the BOV is a good idea and safer, especially for the clutch, but I still agree with Mark that performance is better without it, at the expense of reliability.
So if it were for me, it would be BOV (RIVA BOV of course).
