Decals
Question about putting on decals.
From the service manual:
"Prepare area by washing with mild soap and warm water. Apply decal while area is still wet."
I just dont understand how applying the decal while the area is still wet works? Anyone have any input on this, or suggestions?

Yeppers, just use a squeegee or credit card edge.

I'll usually put a small amount of dish soap in a spray bottle and fill with water. I then spray the area where you want to apply the decal. Apply the decal and get it positioned perfectly. Then start squeegeeing (is that a word?) from the center and work your way out, to avoid any air bubbles. I then let it bake in the sun to get it completley dry.

You can use a Credit Card with a paper towl around it so you do not scratch or tear your decal.
