    New Pistons for performance application

    Just received a set of pistons as a try out. What do you think, keep them and risk it or SEND them back?

    My bet is those tiny dings will cause zero issue whatsoever. BUT, send those pics in an e-mail to the company and ask them what they suggest. That way IF something fails prematurely you will have proof if they say to go ahead and use them.

    They are fine. I would use some fine emery cloth to knock off any edges that would catch your fingernail.

    Use as is or light scrub with 2000 sand paper. Don't go overboard just smooth it a bit..

    I would use as is , unless it's a max effort all out race engine.

    It is 9.5:1 and will be 16 Psi max. Apparently equivalent to 18-19 Psi at 8.4:1
