2 New 2022 RXP 300, 0% Financing
I was speaking to my dealer yesterday about the slowing economy and if he had any 2022 models. He said that he has 42 of them and BRP is shipping 2023. BRP has started the 0% financing for leftover 22 models. There are not very many 300s left over, but he has two PXs, both are triple black. He is located in Texas.

Powersports is always a leading economic indicator. When things slow down, toys are the first to stop selling. Zero percent is just the beginning. I think you will see rebates, waiver of commodity fees, extended warranties to move the units in the near future. Prior to the Covid free money handouts, 3 and 4 year warranties were common. That 'free money" also caused the prices to increase. Those prices will have to come back down before I buy another unit. There is no value in these plastic toys at $20K.

Why buy 1 when you can get 2 for twice the price!

When I first posted this about 3 weeks ago, I thought most of these skis had sold out months ago. The shortage of new skis had also driven the price of used skis to new highs. I have since found out that several dealers have various 22 300s available. I don't know if some buyers cancelled their orders or if BRP made an additional late production run. With new 2023 models already shipping, how did we go from all of the premium models being sold out to a glut of units???

People cancelled because they were so late with delivery. When I picked mine up mid July, it was sitting waiting for parts since April, my dealer said they just received more units with missing parts which wouldn't arrive for another couple of months. If my ski was one of those late arrivals I would have cancelled the order as well.

That is a great explanation. I remember several months ago, my dealer told me that he had received several dash clusters for the 2022 units that he had. I just assumed that BRP had caught up with all of them. I will have to ask if he has all the parts for the two RXPs that he has.
