    Plastic impeller housing, will 2004-2008 aluminum impeller housing fit 2003 GTX 185 ?

    Do any of you guys know if a newer (2004-2008 ) aluminum impeller housing will fit my 2003 GTX 185 limited?

    Make sure the aluminum housing has the correct diameter for the impeller. 185 are smaller vs the aluminum ones for 215/255/260hp

    Thanks guys! If I go with a 215 housing I will need the impeller from that vehicle as well. Got it!

    And you'll need to replace your driveshaft. You probably won't be able to spin a larger/wider impeller with the 185 engines as well. Even if you change the pitch.
