Classified ads online selling cheap SEADOOs, Is this a scam guys?
Hey everybody. I'd like to get an opinion on this classifieds website.
Check out this link
http://www.everyboat.com/c/c/jet-skis-1082_1.htm
I've been looking around the net for a new hull at a cheap price and maybe possibly a new ski as well when I came across this website.
04 seadoo rxp for 2,800 dollars.
two RXT's for 2,800 - 2900 dollars?
I contacted one of these guys and he emailed me back saying that yes the price of the ski is 2800 dollars. The seadoo is already crated and ready for shipment at a shipping company and that they will be handling the deal. I haven't emailed back for shipping information yet.
Does this sound to good to be true? Is this shipping going to end up like 5000 dollars or something.
Look closely guys at the second listing that has no picture for the 2006 3 seadoo GTX. It says under the description that there is guy that is scamming their website and that many people have had their money stolen because the guy is using an alias.
Tell me what you guys think.

Scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it ALWAYS is.
The first time I saw a RXP on Ebay for 2800 buy it now, MAN was I excited!

The 2004 RXP looks nice, but I bet the motor is blown, or the SC took a crap for $2,900. I like how the add says the hull is carbon fiber, I bet, looks like a scam to me.

I noticed that they are saying the new skis have carbon fiber hulls which we know is not true. We are not that stupid right.

That ski is a Forum members ski. They must have stolen his pics to make that bogus add.
Jerry would remember his screan name.
But I know it is a forum members ski's.

After looking at the ads, I am selling my 06 RXT with a carbon fiber hull for $1, you heard me $1, Shipping will cost you a googol. Cash only, preferable US dollars, serious buyers only, 10% down of shipping within 24 hrs of email
I don't guarantee the hull is carbon fiber or I will sell my ski, trailer is extra.

that's what i thought to waterfire.
I know that I've seen the ski before somewhere before. The ski looks very similar to Ghost Rxp I think. is that hydrotoys' ski?
It's all black with flames on the splash guard.
This forum member on this ski has a personal website here.
http://personalpages.tds.net/~jmsmith11/
So I think the scammer just downloaded this forum members pictures on his personal website and used it for his own.
Whoever the forum member is if anybody knows who he is anyway could they pass it on that there is a false ad with his pics on it?
