    Winterization flush question

Normally I flush with antifreez before winterization. I had about a gallon and a half in a bucket and pumped it through but it wasn't enough to come through the piss hole.

    1. Does this mean it didn't run through sufficiently?
    2. I ride saltwater and always flush after. Should I have flushed with saltaway before winterization or would it not even make a difference at this point since I never use it?

Did you run the engine as well?
I use an electric pump. A gallon is more than enough, and it should be pissing out, just like when it runs off the hose.

Yes engine was on and I pumped it in with a sump pump/hose. Even when I flush it with the hose it takes a good while for it to start pissing. RXTX 2020

Add more antifreeze, intercoolers have to fill up as well.

I don't remember the year model change, but I thought later models could use compressed air to blow the water out of the open circuit portion and antifreeze was no longer needed?

You can't blow out all the water in the system. I've seen cracked intercoolers and water boxes from a compressed air blown way of doing it.

Once you run it good with antifreeze, you can blow it out with a compressor.

I was considering that. Any benefits or am I better off just not blowing it out?
