I went ahead and just ordered a new fixing plate (with gasket) and bushing, $40 to the door. Not really worth fighting with it anymore. However, I am guessing I will need to replace the seals where the actuator goes through the fixing plate, looks like there are 2 of them and I don't see them listed on the exploded parts diagram. So stupid that seadoo sells the whole assy for ~$1500 and doesnt break it down any further than that.... I have a 'universal' o-ring kit, anyone know if a standard o-ring will fit or are they specialized? I prefer to replace stuff like that anytime stuff gets taken apart even if it looks ok rather than deal with a leak soon after and tearing it apart all over again....

Got it opened up, the gear all looks ok, nothing bound or broken and moves freely.

What do you guys think about this control board? Few spots that look questionable to me, particularly the corrosion on the mounting screws.

Also, I couldnt help but notice the control board is stamped 2008. As far as I knew, no one has been into this ski I got it with 10 hours on it.

Assemble with Tef-gel to prevent galvanic corrosion. Works extremely well. Click image for larger version.
