93 Polaris sl 750 crankcase crack

Welp, I have discovered two cracks in my crankcase on my 93 sl 750. One is a decent size and the other one is moderate. I bought this jetski second hand for $50 and knew it wasn’t going to be easy to get going. I’ve already ordered parts for it and I don’t want to dump too much money into it so I can rip around on it for a little bit and then sell it. I have seen on YouTube that a guy had used “The right stuff” sealer on a mercruiser engine block that had a crack in it. And it worked perfectly fine and was good to hold up for a decent amount of time. I’m just trying to get anyone’s opinion on what I could do to fix this problem without having to spend a bunch of money. I have included pictures of what the cracks look like.

So what would need to be done to get it repaired correctly? I wasn’t really looking for an answer elaborating on me selling it, I was looking for some feedback or help on fixing the problem at hand.

It looks like water was left in the cases and they froze, causing the cracks and possibly unseen cracks.

The cases need to be replaced. Anything less would be a band-aide. Later models did not have the cooling hoses and were less prone to freezing.

Really need to remove and inspect the crankshaft, to determine if the project is feasible.

    I'm with Casey.

Only way to address the cracks is to replace. The 92 and 93 model years utilized the case for cooling. They eliminated that in 94 and newer and made some major modifications in the jet pump too.

You can buy a set of used cases and possibly reroute the cooling to the newer style that eliminates the case cooling. But Casey has a valid point about the crank shaft. If it's got bad bearings, it not going to last too long.
