    Polished Props on the 22s?

    Hi

Just wondering if all the RXTX 22's had a polished prop like the 2022 RXPX does, Got one recently and its the normal colour like the old ones?

i think the "polished" prop only comes on the RXPX not the RXTX from what i can tell

the sticker on the prop matches the microfiche for this ski so i think its ok

My 22 GTX came with the dull looking prop. Guess they could not afford the polishing compound.

Polished, not polished. No performance difference. Flame away!

This guy knows what he's talking about. Polished or not, it makes zero difference in performance.

I would think the extra step of polishing would increase the cost. Why would BRP spend the money and only on the RXP?

Because that's how they come from the vendor making the impellers for BRP. BRP does not have them polished to improve performance, remember, they have to speed limit the skis, they are not taking measures to tweak impellers to gain more performance.

Again, polished versus non polished, zero performance difference.

I always figured with the rxp being their "buoy racer model" that being polished was a marketing plow. It's interesting how with jetpumps being polished has no effect, but with a stern drive it does. Not to dive to deep down the physics rabbit hole, but why is that?
