Alert Fuel Problems In Ca.
I want to warn all that in california we have had a change in Fuel. The summer blend came out about 2 to 3 weeks ago and have been playing havock on a wide variety of skies. From Yamaha to Sea Doo's. Apparently it effects 2 stroke models. The New sumer blend of gas and oil is plugging things up here in CA. Not shure what to do about it yet but would appriciate any answers anyone cam come up with. I have seen many skies in the last week with plugged fuel filters. this shit is plugging the main filter and goping as far as to plug the internail filters in Mikuni carbs. This is causing a lean condition and playing hell on our engines. Please send answers to mt375hp@aol.com Thanks Mark

They are probably adding more alcohol to your fuel and ether your oil is not rated for it or the alcohol is low proof and the water is separating from the fuel and clogging thing up

ethanol = alcohol better hope they aren't adding methanol. If the methanol sits in the tank it will melt rubber parts. High % of any alcohol use to be rejeted, 100% needs to be all most doubled.
