Wanted pics of modded intake and ride plate.
I would like to see some pics of modded intake grates and ride plates. Let me know what you think of the out come. I am looking at doing some stuff and want to make good use of what I have.

Well I did modify the intake grate and ride plate. See pics. I am going out Wed. to play so I will let everyone know what kind of differances I see. The ride plate I basicly cleaned up all the rough casting flaws and shaved a small amount off of the rear of the plate, dulled the front lip where it steps up. Here are some pics. I also painted both of them black as I like the look much better. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Rodney,
I think those grates that are cut need to be ground down. Everyone I've seen doesn't have the 1/4 inch or so remaining tabs.

Using the tabs to keep water flowing straight. I have seen the others, After testing I may remove the rest of it. But yes I have seen everone elses. Thanks for the input, but I am wanting to try something diferent. I have sculpted the tabs to channel water and filled down all straight edges. Hard to tell in photo.
