Fuel/Oil Question
Hi guys
How long can fuel be premixed and sitting in your tank before it goes off or it does nt go off. (weeks months days)
If it can sit around for a while does the the oil seperate from the fuel in the tank which means the skis need a good shacking around. (or it does nt seperate)
I always run my tank low and refuel before I go out so fresh fuel all the time but its been bugging me how long can fuel/prmixed can sit around for.

problem I see with premix other than less performance is that is tends to gun up the carbs alott faster than straight gas does.

It will lose octane if octane is important to your engine dont store it for long.

4 to 6 weeks before octane starts to drop off, then it is a slow process depending on environment where the gas is being stored.
