Seadoo spark stays in reverse

After changing the IBR motor and running a quick test on the trailer. It seems like when started its always in reverse .I squeezed the brake lever and gave it some throttle no change .
I'm wondering possibly a sensor at brake lever ?

The iBR scoop has three positions, when you start the engine it goes into "neutral" scoop half way down, when you press the throttle lever it goes into forward and the scoop goes fully up, when you press the reverse/brake lever the scoop goes to fully down position, no need to press the throttle lever for any of those.

I don't really follow your troubleshooting logic thinking that something could be wrong with the lever after you have replaced the iBR actuator motor? I think you need to have somebody with access to BUDS do a full iBR calibration procedure.

Red your other post about connecting wires for the iBR, I checked the shop manual but I'm not sure I understand which wires you are referring to. I have attached the iBR wiring diagram.

I doesn't seem to matter what position the bucket is in , it always shows reverse , the IBR brake lever doesn't seem to do anything

I noticed most of these posts go unanswered or open ended.
After replacing the IBR motor and making a few adjustments I have it working great.
If anyone needs help it's not a huge job to replace the IBR motor

I knew I was on the right path replacing the IBR motor , it took a few resets( disconnected battery and manually rolled the gears in IBR to neutral position , once I achieved that it seemed to self calibrate .
Wife tested it today works great .
