I decided to relocate the electronics to the factory air box and utilize that. Itís higher up and closer to the front where less water settles. This is just a fit up for now of course and the final product will be presented better.

Only con to this setup is that some wires will have to be extended in certain areas, particularly the battery terminals and harness that sits on the intake manifold. Apart from that, itís all pretty much a straight forward relocation process.

    FZR-R3 Turbo build

Managed to fit the harness with only having to make an adapter harness for the rectifier, stator, earth plate and thermo sensor. Iíll be doing the positive battery terminal over the weekend.

After that, I got started on the up-pipe and was able to get the turbo and wastegate in the position I wanted with no issues 🤞🏼

I have a video that shows more detail but canít seem to load it. Iíll be water jacketing the up-pipe and will then start the intercooler pipe once that is completed. The down-pipe will be one of the last things I do because Iím contemplating using titanium instead of stainless to save some weight.

My 2nd kit came together so much faster than the first. I had to learn how to tig weld on the first one. Plus I learned that its way easier to do the water jacket if you dont weld the up pipe all together first.
My biggest issue I have now, I dont think I can remove my battery without pulling the Turbo. Which sucks.
I still need to vent my valve cover to my catch can, but ive been super busy with other stuff.
