See if you can find a JASO MA oil that does not have friction modifiers from a motorcycle shop or auto shop.

I've been using Castrol 10w-40 in both my ski's from day one without a problem. My GTX has over 100hours. RXP has about 90.

Don't quote me liquid... But me too.. I used Castrol GTX ALL last year no probs... And I think for the most part you are ok... However Franco Dettori does not recomend it and he found that the Bombardier oil offers him the best protection..
Mind you he runs his stuff @ 9000+ Rpm's..
So I am going to pay the little extra to get the bombardier stuff from now on..
But as I said I ran the GTX in my ski all last year and No probs.. I would be a littler more leary if you are still running ceramics.. I was running Metal washers..

The Valvoline motorcycle oil I am now running is a good compromise. It has no friction modifiers, is JASO- MA rated, and is half the cost of the Seadoo oil. Still more expensive than regular castrol, but you dont have to worry about the clutch slipping.
castrol = 2.00
Valvoline motorcycle oil = 3.50
Sea doo = 6.00
I will be changing my oil every 10 -15 hours from here on in since finding this oil. The high boost and high revs contaminate the oil way to fast for my liking. I was using the Amsoil which I consider the BEST way to go, but it is not cost effective for frequent changes.
my 2 cents...Last edited by The Bandit; 06-24-2007 at 02:16 PM.
