What mod will spin a 16/21 impeller to 8500rpms +

We installed a racing cam and gained 300 Rpms. We are now spinning a 15/22 close to 9000 Rpms. We are looking for higher top speed with perhaps a 16/21 impeller. Would the 16/21 eat up more then 400 Rpms?

What ski and what other mods? If you want to stay 159, I"m thinking 15/25R. Or try one of the new props from the 21 PXs and TXs.

When in need of advice for impellers, service and your best options of impellers for any RPM range.... Impros are the ones and the best for your needs.. 15/23 is the solution for my set up..

That's funny, you came on asking for advice and now you're trying to give it. Lots of good option out there now, almost no reason any more do a super custom pitch setup anymore.

It sounds like Tide called up impros and found his answer and is sharing it.. Hence the impros "Plug"

I've had 4 custom impellers done by Skat, not very cost effective for us FL guys especially now. I was at over $200 the last one they did for me and that was years ago. Those guys do great work for sure, but there are better designs now IMO then taking an old 15/21 and bending it.

Impros nailed it dead on a few years back on a re-pitch they suggested. Thought I'd ask them as it worked out well last time around. I thought of them after posting the thread. Thanks for the replies though.
