How do you hoist or lift your ski in your garage or workshop?

Had a widget made that helps me transfer my 18 gtx from the trailer to my maintenance cart. my cart bunks are the same height and spacing as my trailer, is a fixture that hooks into the lower cross bar of the maint stand with a boat hoist that I attatch to the tow hooks on the back of the ski. just un hook the front of the ski and crank away on the boat winch and the ski slides right onto the stand and get put in my garage and the trailer goes in the back yard. loading is even easier just hook up the bow hook and crank away on the trailer winch.

Can you post some photos of the rig you made to pull the ski from trailer backwards onto the PWC cart bunks?

Maybe I'm not reading/understanding what you wrote but it sounds like you're just going to send the pictures to K447. Why not post them in this thread so that everyone interested can see them?

What winch and battery did you use?
Seems fairly compact.

How about a Harbor Freight winch powered by a Ballistic battery? The battery didn't have enough omphh to reliably start my Sea-Doo. When it completely died I used one of the small jump boxes to power the winch.

Your welcome, all it takes is to step on one of the lower cross bars and turn the winch and it pulls the ski right on to the work cart, made the cross bar to give me a center pull point using the lower tow loops. do not have a upper center tow point like the Yamahas have, hope this puts ides in your head and you can make a widget to make this work for you .
