STX15F Revving on it's own.

Hi All,

Here's a strange one. 2014 STX 15F will get stuck at certain RPM's while lightly revving the throttle. Sometimes it will even Rev up entirely on it's own without touch the throttle.

Would this be symptomatic of a bad IAC? I hear the clicking noise, but as I understand, that doesn't mean it's actually working.

26 seconds into this video, you can hear it rev up without touching the throttle.



Just before that, it gets stuck at RPM's after squeezing the throttle.

Outside of this issue, I feel like it sounds semi-decent. Don't mind the smoke, it's leftover fuel treatment.

Unplug the steering angle sensor and try it again.

Thank you! This seems to have fixed the issue. I'll wrap up the connections and just leave it. Was never a fan of that KSS feature anyway.

Can you post a photo of the plug you disconnected?
