2007 gp1300r alarm
Helping a buddy w his gpr
It originally threw a rod and destroyed everything
He bought a motor off eBay even though I told him not to buy it
anyway I installed it and it fires right up but has a alarm going off after about 10 seconds
It’s stock other than the d plate
It’s the icon just to the right of the check engine icon on the dash
Looks like a water temp icon
I know it’s not the one in the lower of the pipe
What is the one on mag cylinder? And how do I test it ?
Doesn’t seem to effect running just has alarm going off
Thanks
Jason

After a ton. Of testing and reading it’s the cat sensor , I replaced it w cat sensor chip and still alarmed
Is there a different cat chip ?

yes so the chip is like 997 (1K) ohms and the non pvs need 2k-2.2k ohms... or sometimes plug the oem sensor back in and see
