    what is code P-0500 ?

    I actually got a code after hitting set 5X, after my ski shut off

    and the whole time I`ve had this ski, I never had a "maintainence light" come on until today ...
    Oh the maint light came on well before the code came up. miles in between...PR...

    same here Mark, couldn`t find it in the manual. As soon as I saw the code I shouted it out to several people so I wasn`t seeing things ...

    Check and make sure the battery cables are tight, just a guess...

    the code occurs in the 4-tec world occassionally, but rarely... it's not stored in the ECU fault history and not in any of the 4-tec tech books either to my knowledge yet. even if u hooked the ski up to BUDS there would be no sign that such a code is active or occured

    happened to me a few years ago... just ignore it, u'll probably never see it again
