    300 engines with 4tec NGK DCPR8E 4339

Anyone know if using the NGK DCPR8E 4339 spark plugs with caps on obviously, would cause any issues?

Guess not.....I've got 'em in a couple customer machines. I DO snug the caps up with pliers so they don't vibrate loose.

It is not your spark plug ! The risk is that you blow the electrod of the spark plug, that is hotter compare with the 300 spark plug . Guess why I know that ...

Not recommended, but if you want to cut corners do it to your own and not someone's else's. Would you want someone to do that to you? The heat range is different and the electrode is different.

Interesting. I bought a 2017 RXT-X about a month ago. I just winterized it and those are the plugs that are in it. Guess Iíll do a little research and get the right plugs for next season.

Well......I guess since it should be a #9 heat range then technically it IS the wrong plug. I'll keep that in mind next tune-up.

Go to the dumpster fire that's the "political thread" in the garage. Keep your garbage opinions out of the performance forum!

Some people feel that using ANYTHING other than the factory spec parts is a shortcut. I've met a couple like that through the years. It's the type that will go back to the dealer to put tires on the car. LOL!
