    1998 Seadoo XPL - Pump tunnel to hull leak repair?

    Has anyone had a leaking pump tunnel to hull leak?

    Just wanting to know best way to break the tunnel free from the Hull

    thx for help.

    Oh forgot its on a 1998 xpl.

    Between the shoe and hull are spacers these must go back to aligne the pump to hull.

    98 models seem to be the ones most affected by

    I use chisels as wedges and cut away at it with a razor knife. A 90* prybar will help up inside where the pump bolts on. Just keep working around and prying and cutting until you can pry it off. I had to do an RX about a month ago. Took me around 3 hours!
