    66V vs. 68N crankcase

I have a 1999 XL1200 ltd with a cracked upper case from detonation. The Yamaha part number is 66V-15100-00-8P. I have found a used one from a 2002 GP1200R, Yamaha part number 68N-15100-00-8P. Are these cases interchangeable?

all 1200pv cases are pretty much the same. 1300 cases will work too just have to add pulse line nipples
