2006 gtx limited supercharged keys and dash

I just purchased my first ski. It is a 2006 gtx limited supercharged. I took it out to try it and it ran super fast for about 10 seconds and then it felt like it slowed down to maybe 3/4 throttle . It runs good just not as fast as it did when I first tried it. I called previous owner and he told me the key I have is the learning key the fast key was lost. Can I order new keys . Also the instrument panel is not working any place I could send it to be fixed. Sorry for long post but any help would be appreciated

I had good luck sending my ECU and keys to nick @ westside powersports. It was a quick turnaround too. I think I got my keys ecu and keys back within 5 or 6 days. As for repairing the cluster, I been doing research on this too. There was a guy who claimed to fix water damaged clusters on Facebook but can't figure out who it was. Maybe someone will chime in. The clusters are becoming a hindrance buying and maintaining these skis since I see replacements go over $700.

On one that takes off fast then slows down or surges......the first thing I check for is water in the intake tube to the throttle body......bad intercooler.

Have you check in your area most jet ski or powersport shops on programing keys only, major shops in this area have a 1 to 2 weeks wait time, good shops can do it while you are standing there, all together mines was about $70, do you know when SC has been rebuilt last, you can check it yourself, check to see if SC is not spin-fee with your finger, yes can order new keys either go local to program or send your ECU off to all get program.

your "learner key" can be reprogrammed to be a regular key with CanDooPro or BUDS

You may have problems finding a business that would do that

I won’t, without stripping the “learning key” float off the key

Key blanks are cheap compared to being caught without one

Get a new key made and leave the learner at home
