Your issue is with the stock ride plate. You are NOT overstuffing. The stock ride plate is downright dangerous when pushed over 72 mph. You need the Riva ride plate asap!! Use the discount code: greenhulk to save $30 off the listed price

The known problem is with the current generation hulls 2019 and above. I'd check and make sure all your bolts in the pump tunnel are tight and there's no play in the steering cable. As far as the ride plate, if you decide to do that, I had mine done with the Dean's mod's both are stable up over 90 mph.

Interesting what you guys are saying about ride plate. I have a 2022 fx svho on order. The plate is modified on the 2022 models. Will this hopefully cure the problems over stock speeds?

The 2022 FX has an updated ride plate, diff hull material, and sponsons moved up slightly from what I can remember off hand. This could fix those issues but we won’t know until people start getting the 2022’s and start testing.

I was planning on putting an OEM ride plate with Jimís mod on. Is the Riva ride plate a better choice?

What’s the difference between Dean’s mod and Jim’s mod?

The Jims mod is just the center and the angle cut, Dean does a little additional cutting on the sides and and adds a tab on the back if he determines that will benefit you're setup. I hear great stuff about Jim, but I can vouch personally for the Deans cut. I have his on both my skis and several others I know with Fx's that I ride with.

Interesting. Now I have Dean’s Team envy. My main objective is to keep it safe for all to ride. My wife, daughter as well as many of my friends ride with me. Everyone rides all our skis. Since we are fortunate to have 3 Waverunners I don’t ride the same one all the time. I just started playing with the 2018 FX SVHO this year so anything that seams off or unsafe as I tweak it a little I want to correct before anyone gets hurt

My '16 FXCSVHO with the Jim's cut plate has always felt a little "squirly" at speed, but I've never felt unsafe on it, even running at 84 mph.
