The top plug in the pic was the center one. I put a set of the Champions in but I had too much other stuff to do today to put the ski back in the water to test it. The Champion has a different tip on the electrode than the NGK. When I get a chance I’ll post a pic of it. It’s the QC10PEP-7712 which is supposedly the correct one.

I need to check the stator voltages and resistances. I didn’t have a chance to do it today.

I’s also going to grab a new set of plug wires. The center wire isn’t snapping on the plug so it’s widened out. I doubt it’s enough to not give it spark but it’s a cheap thing to replace.

I found this link and haven’t had any luck downloading the service manuals. It says I have to log into Google drive. Which I do, but then it says someone has to approve my request. So far I haven’t heard anything. I tried to PM you but apparently I can't here for some reason.

    this is the link:

I finally got a chance to start checking a few things

    CPS 100 ohms
    air temp sensor 570 ohms
    water temp sensor 572 ohms
    stator:
    1-12 .4 ohm 8.35v
    2-11 .4 ohm 8.3v
    3-10 .6 ohm 5.3 v
    4-9 .6 ohm 5.3v
    5-8 .6 ohm 5.2v

I didnt check 1-12 to ground. It totally slipped my mind.

it appears at the least I need an air and water temp sensor. The stator readings aren’t within spec. I don’t know if they are too far out.

    Can anyone comment?

Are you sure your multi-meter is accurate?

Battery inside the meter is fresh?
