polaris genesis 1200 di ficht some problems. i need some help.

Hello everyone. i am a member from Turkiye
i need some advice from you. My friend borrows my polaris genesis di 1200 jet and he sink my jet and i had to rebuild my whole engine. Now i have rebuilt the engine and tried to start the engine but my jet starts but runs sluggish. if i hit the gas always in and out the jet runs but once i let the gas off it dies. i inspected everything and ound that the lr503 module was burnt. i tried to find it on ebay and i see there are 7 cable modules called polaris regulator rectifier. i am confused because i think ficht engines have a built in voltage regulator rectifier inside the emm. the chineese producers sells the typical module with the name regulator ractifier. i also tried to check the voltage that comes to battery but i read only 12 volts just like when the engine is off. Do you think this lr 503 module ks my only problem or i have a problem with the emm also? And if i buy those cheap modules from ali express or ebay is it gonna work for me? The ski keeps blowing the fuses when i try to crank and start the engine.sory for my english i tried to explain my situation. Any help would be much appreciated

As to your LR503, it can be bypassed. See K447's info pages for details on how to bypass:

As to your report of running sluggish, have you checked the fuel pressure and reinforced the fuel pressure regulator? See this thread for details:

I would also suggest you check the fuel pump intake screen for contaminants/debris while you are reinforcing the fuel pressure regulator. See this thread for details:

Hello again. Thank you for your reply. i also though bypassing is the easiest way as i could not find the burnt element in the lr503 module. i have checked the fuel pressure regulator as it sometimes falls. its ok. Fuel pump filter and intake screen was changed earlier and its fine too. i will test again with lr503 bypassed and write here again. i also see that there is no battery voltage feed which makes me think there is an issue with the emm. i get the same 12 volts with the engine running and stopped. i check it with the multimeter on the battery terminals. martincom;3145856]As to your LR503, it can be bypassed. Hello again. i have bypassed the module and i used the bilge pump button as the kill switch. Now everything is fine.
i want to ask one issue. When my engine is on idle i get 12.6 battery feed and when i increase the rpm to 5000 i get 13 volts of feed. i check the voltages with the multimeter on the battery terminals. i have a 30 amper battery and My battery is approximately half charged. Do you think the feed is normal? Or its because that my battery is big and half charged?

Seems your battery is not charging properly. I suspect that you may have an EMM issue. Take a look under the plastic cover side to see if you see anything like the image below.

i have checked the emm. There is nothing burnt on that side of the emm. it all looks fine. The original soft tissue on the emm is clean without any melting. i removed that tissue of the exact place where you show in the photo and its also fine.
