My GPRXP build
So I'm starting this build thread but the ski project is already progressing. I bought an 08 RXP-X 255 that had hit a bridge. I got a lot of what I need from that. Unfortunately it hydrolocked, bent valves and a rod, and the cylinder bores are rusty and the gauges don't work. But I did get the ECU, injectors, wiring harness, X supercharger, tons of stuff.
I also bought an 01 GP1200R from my buddy with a thrown rod. The blue fairing are pristine and I put them in the back seat of the Jeep. He also included a GPRXP engine mount kit and midshaft/bearing that he had bought used.

So I got the hull gutted, bought the pump tunnel reinforcement and glued it in with anchor adhesive

Got some aluminum pipe and fitted my Seadoo gas tank. I put a new filter under the pump. I know this is probably all stuff you guys have seen 100 times. It's my first time though

Filled the transom plate and shoe with Flex Seal. I fitted the transom plate, opened the hole for VTS and made a small bracket. I spaced the VTS nut using a PVC electrical conduit coupler I shaved down. Yes I cleaned the old silicone off the transom plate with a wire wheel and got it super clean before applying new silicone.

I'm going to be using the 08 PX water box and factor exit elbow. I grabbed the free-flow J pipe off my RXTX, a piece of the PX's factory exhaust hose, and bought a silicone 2.75 to 3.5 coupler 90. I also bought a 1' piece of 4" wet exhaust to connect the manifold to waterbox. Its in the garage, not in this pic.

I made some brackets for my relief valves, drilled and tapped the setback and epoxied the barbed fittings in place. I got a 50mm M6 stainless motherboard standoff for my steering cable extension. I'm using a SHO/SVHO steering nozzle. Also, I drilled the trim ring a little lower and used my Seadoo steering cable ends for the VTS. I ordered a piece of M6 all thread to make my trim extension rod. Still waiting on that.

Good looking job so far. You plan on keeping the PX motor stock?

I'm getting an engine out of a 215 and we're going to do a freshen up rebuild with ARP hardware but otherwise OEM bottom end. Supertech valves, titanium retainers... then put my X charger and everything on it. But yeah, its going to be stock X charger, 42 injectors, stock tune, etc. Just a bone stock 255. I'm going to run the Yam boat prop (16/23?) and hopefully I'm not all over the rev limiter

Stainless all thead I ordered was delivered so I mocked up my trim rod. I dont know if VTS is all the way in or out so I can't cut it down to size yet

Mocked up the RXPX bars on the ski, then made a bracket for the DESS post, roughed it up then painted with enamel then truck bedliner. I had to drill and tap the broken bolts in in the VTS switchbox
