2021 RXPX, intake, tune (8500 Riva), catch can, intake girdle, valve retainers for piece of mind.

With a stock impeller 13.6/24 it wasn't seeing but 74mph/8200rpm. Granted it has been hot and humid. But that was on the dash while others riding beside me would get 2-3 mph more. Tried a few different impellers. Stock impeller tweaked to 13/18 would immediately hit 8400rpm and bounce off the rev limited but the increased rpm wasn't seeing any additional speed and actually lost a couple mph. Now, repitching a stock impeller to the 13/18 is probably pushing the impeller too far and it increased the cavitation a little. Tried an impeller off a GTR (can't remember the pitch) and it would only go 68 and bounce off the rpm limited at 8400RPM. Next i tried a new 14/19 and the RPM's came down but so did the speed to about 8100/70mph. Tomorrow the 13/15 arrives and we will try that.

The repitching of the stock impeller was with the one that came with the RXPX. I also have the stock impeller that came with my GTX300 which is the same pitch.

I am hoping that the 13/15 is a better starting point with the root angle for dialing in the RPM and getting the most out of the ski. This weekend will be the test.

74/8200rpm is way slow. I saw 79 dash @8200 rpm, full tank gas. 175lb rider. That's in slow saltwater.

Which is the reason I am trying different things.

Thanks for the info and please keep us posted. I think mine is pretty slow too. Intake and 8500 tune also.

I ran 8200, 78 on dash, 76 gps, pretty low on fuel, trim way up. That was in hot weather at a bit of altitude (300'). I feel that in better weather @ sea level (where I usually run) I will be very close to the limiter.
Mine is gonna need a bit of help to see 80... Hoping this new prop will help.

I don't have an intake on yet, probably why i'm faster.

I'm guessing you guys are few lbs heavier than me if your that down on speed.

skinny fat. I wish I could get to 180 again....getting to old I guess.

You should be faster, stock prop turning 8200 rpm. should be around 78 dash with way more gas on board at your weight...weird...maybe I finally got a fast hull. Your impeller and wear ring in good shape?

They look excellent. I am a bit disappointed and agree I was hoping for better top end.

I guess I'm not the only one, it would seem- at least mine is faster than jsmith's (sorry buddy).

I will wait for more favorable conditions to evaluate better, but it almost seems to me like the ski doesn't have enough prop maybe...
The conditions I was in last week, I wasn't expecting to even see 8200. Curious to see if this thing will be bangin' off the limiter in cooler weather.

GH Jr. is saying how crappy the weather is while testing his PX vs GP and getting 79 gps with full tank... I'm way off that.
