Ok, just got back from my seat-less ride. When I start the engine the PV servo moves the valves in and out, which is exactly what I saw when I started it on the lift. I see no movement at all when I go to throttle-up. And still starts sputtering at just over 5000RPM and will re-catch at 4000RPM. Now what?

Disconnect the PV cables. Open the PVís wide open and run it. Itíll be sluggish down low but if it pulls hard up too the service motor is likely badÖ. OR the ignition module might have an issue.

Ok, that will be tomorrow's test. How do I open the PV wide open? Using the pulley wheel?

Pulled the PV cables off and ran it. Same issue still present, stumbles over 5000rpm. Any idea on what to try next? I'm not sure how to test the fuel pressure that it's getting. But the fact that when i pump the primer when starting to stumble at 5000rpm and it doesn't help made me believe something else is afoot.

    I think you misunderstood me

You need to manually open up the power valves, then run the machine and see if it runs better or not.

Sorry I wasn't clear before. I temporarily removed both of the cables and then manually opened (turned) the pulley to the open position, nothing changed. It still cut out above 5000rpm

Have you checked the piston wash and the sparkplug color?

All 3 cylinders have about 120psi. I pulled all 3 plugs and the were dark in color and looked ok.
