Sea Doo 215 factory Oversized Piston / Cylinder clearance

Does anyone know what piston to cylinder clearance I should use for the OEM Sea Doo 100.19MM Pistons? The manual shows .0017 to .003 but that seems really tight to me and just want to make sure I am going with the right clearance and the correct ring gaps. I am making around 16.5 PSI of boost with a max rpm around 8800 RPM's so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go with CP 100.25 with .0045 clearances, top ring gap .025 and second ring gap .030, ceramic top the piston and moly skirt coat. POLYDYN PERFORMANCE for the coatings

For OEM pistons you follow the OEM specs. Aftermarket pistons use different alloys which expand more than OEM so they require different clearances.

Ok. Thanks. I will probably go with. 003 since I have such high boost and RPM's and have already bought the pistons. Thanks for the help.
