Need Advice: Dealer says ECU bad? Oil light & limp mode. Lots eliminated.

I'm dealing with an oil warning light that keeps coming on throwing the seadoo into limp mode. Tried everything then brought it to the dealer. They supposedly pulled the motor and checked the oil pumps after telling them I replaced the oil pressure sensors. It did go in with a blown supercharger and they rebuilt it and replaced a bad magneto and flywheel gear...$2000 later...its still going into limp mode after they test ride it. The oil warning light continues to come on and throws the seadoo into limp mode. They tested and tried other oil pressure sensors just in case my new ones were faulty and no dice. They say oil pressure is reading fine bit one was reading high. Oil is fresh and clean with proper amount but the light keeps coming on and putting the seadoo into limp mode. Now their saying it needs an ECU...and that's what's causing the light to come on. Anyone ever had this issue and do you think this could be the case. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You guys really need to provide year and model info to help diagnose problems.

The 2009 and older skis have Siemens ECUs and MPEMs that indicate different problems. The newer Bosch ECUs are more reliable.

It sounds like the consensus is a bad computer but I would temporarily install a cheap pressure gauge so you can monitor the actual oil pressure.

From what I was told by the dealer, they supposedly did use a gauge and found the rear oil pressure sensor was reading high but the pressure gauge was reading normal. They said the rear sensor has two different choices of sensors to use. They replaced the new rear sensor i put in which was reading high with the other one that can be used and same thing happened, reading high. That's when they called and "SUGGESTED" it's a bad ecu.

If it is indeed a bad ECU (pn: 420-664-562 which I'm told was superseded to 420-664-566) Has anyone ever used Torx Racing to repair their ECU. Someone referred them to me and I'm wondering if that's the route to take if all other avenues are exhausted.

The are two oil sensors, OPS and OSPS. If they have replaced and verified both sensors good and check the harness, then it is most likely the ECM.

Any suggestions on where to get an ECM for a 2003 GTX SC or do I contact Torx Racing and have them repair this one? Has anyone sent their ECM out for repair?...and if so, which shop is recommended?
