    2019 FX-SVHO Code 159

Just wondering if anyone else ever had this issue where, the exclamaition sign came on on the dash in RED, and beeping, I used a Candoo pro to scan it, it showed code 159 which is the reverse bucket. The reverse bucket is working fine, the Rods aren't too tight, I can remove the joint in both positions. And the code came on initially while riding in open water, so it wasn't an obstruction like a tie down strap.
The problem now is..... I hit "clear code" on the Candoo, and it shows cleared on the Candoo, but machine still beeping with the exclamation sign. I took it for a ride hoping it would eventually clear, but it's still beeping and seems to be down on power. (limp mode?)
Came back and checked with Candoo again, now it's not showing any faults on Candoo, but machine STILL has the exclamation sign and still beeping.

    Any ideas?

Try disconnecting the battery for few mins, see if it resets

Has the engine been restarted more than three times? Usually that will clear an old warning from the dash

Yes, rode it for a few hours, with many stops and starts.
I'm still trying to figure out why it got the code in the first place, it came on while riding straight in open water

because I know it's not the engine, and I was hoping it would reset itself.

Sounds like an electrical problem. Unplug and inspect the large white RiDE connector near the mid-wall. If no bent pins, broken wires or water inside, reconnect and see if the problem just needed the connector to be re-seated.

I had that exact same issue and reseating the connector fixed it

Well. I tried unplugging the harness, looks perfect and was dry and clean, also disconected the batter for about an hour, connected everything back together and Same problem. exclamation mark on dash, beeping, but no codes showing on Candoo Pro.
