    Unhappy Steering nozzle broke off.

just when i think i have everything buttoned up ... my trim ring that sits within the nozzle decided to break off today, not sure how but it was during a 75mph pull. The metal just completely sheered off from where it attaches to the 2 bolts that hold it. Does anyone make an aftermarket replacement for this piece?

Yea, just order OEM parts that you need. I don’t know anyone making the rings

    The technical term is broken.

Is it possible at some point the steering nozzle was backed into something while on the trailer, or struck the ground/launch ramp/lake bottom?

Which could stress crack the trim ring metal, leading to eventual failure of the part.

The technical term i was looking for was "trim ring", sure is broken though! it could have possibly happened with the two previous owners but ill never know. I've only put 10 hours on this thing since i got it and have done nothing but fix stuff lol.
