Ski is dead, point me in the right direction.

2011 FZS 200 hrs, mods below.
Always runs great and starts right up. Battery has been weak this year so I bought a new one. It's charged, tests 12.6 volts.
Ski is now 100% dead, no click, no bilge pump, no fuel pump running, no dash lights up at all. Lanyard is in, but nothing. I find it impossible to think it's all of the sudden the start/stop switch, but I'll check it.

I take out the Battery every winter and it never effected the security system or anything before when I put the battery back in, could it be that?

There is a possibility my son hooked up the battery cables backwards at first, would that blow a fuse or something? If so where is it.

    Thanks

Tip: Mark the positive battery terminal with red tape or paint.

Reverse connected battery could certainly cause problems, even if connected for just a moment.

You can remove the fuse panel cover and inspect the fuses.
There may be some spare fuses included in there.

I do not know if yours will look the same, this is the fuse panel in my 2017 GP1800 SVHO

Just went through almost the same scenario myself yesterday after a long hiatus on the ski. Check the battery connections again. Any chance you have the ski locked from the key fob?

I don't think it's the key fob, connections or wiring problem. Since there is no power anywhere, I think some main fuse is blown. I pulled it out of the water, tomorrow I'll dig into it and see if I can spot something. I hope like K447's photo it has a spare in the box.

Took a look at it this am. It's been 10+ years since I had the electronics cover off. I totally forgot it has a big knob that says "FUSE" right on it. Reminds me of the Super Jet E boxes.

Sure enough the top right 30A fuse was blown.

Popped in another one and it fired right up.

    Thanks everyone for your help.
