All four sparkplugs look like this. Is this a problem with two year old gas?

Even if the plugs are not the problem the 2 year old gas certainly is! I'm going to assume the gasoline is 10% ethanol. Heck, even if it were pure gasoline it wouldn't be any good after 2 years.

Install a fresh set of spark plugs, put some fresh gasoline in that ski and get it out on the water. It might take just a little bit of running for the ski to return to normal running.

It was ethanol-free gas and I have just installed a new set of plugs. Hope to try it out this weekend. Thanks so much all!

Easiest way to empty a fuel tank is to use the fuel pump. A little wire, alligator clips and a battery is all you need.

I used to throw the old gas into my Jeep Cherokee... that thing would run on anything.

I built a specialized tool/rig to run the fuel pump and drain the tank.

Here is the fitting needed to connect the factory fuel hose (disconnected at the engine) to a drain hose.

Good Day Saturday! Fresh gas, new sparkplugs, mid 70's speeds and smooth as silk engine running! I even got my trailer board replaced! Thanks all!

Very cool. But my alligator clip setup is universal for any brand or model.

And what could possibly go wrong by touching bare wire to the battery terminals while working with gasoline?
