dumb carb question
How do I get the throttle and choke linkages off the carbs on my 99 GP1200? I believer they are the Mikuni Super BN44s.
Sorry for the dumb question.

loosen the jam nut at the adjuster and the cable assembly will come out of the mounting bracket then align the cable to the slot in the throttle pulley and the cable end should just slide right out. If you need a service manual go to this link and download one for your ski

One last one. Aren't I supposed to lube a few of rebuild pieces with 100% silicone spray?

I have never lubed any internal carb parts, and I have never heard of anyone doing it.
