Lack of power after 10 / 15 minutes

    Hi all,

    My adventures started here.

    http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthre...=292319&page=3

    To summarize.

    Spark plugs changed
    New oil
    Oil filter changed
    Belt tensioner changed
Check the water box (nothing inside)

Test with a garden hose : everything was fine.

I put it in the water: everything went very well for 10/15 minutes.

    Max power, good acceleration.

    Perfect.

    And suddenly, lack of power.

The jet did not exceed 40 km / h (it must be within 25 miles / h)

    Max RPM 3.500

When I accelerate fully, it rises for a short time at 6,000 rpm to drop back to 3,500 and of course no power.

If I keep the accelerator barely pressed, the jet continues with a few taps.

    Do you have a lead?

    Thanks for your help.

    Have a good day

Have you pulled the jet pump off for inspection? I just took one off today that had ate all it's bearings. was really dragging the motor down when trying to start it.

    Thank you for your answer.

It's really an idea that I haven't thought of.

I was thinking more of electronics or a sensor because my problem does not occur cold.
And also this problem of starting when the engine is hot.

Not the slightest weird noise, nothing resembling a bearing problem.

I'll take a look but what I saw in the manual requires some special tools and I don't have them.

I will take a more detailed look at what I can do.

Thank you very much for your advice and help

If you have a 300x there are no special tools to remove the pump.....only to disassemble the pump.

    Hello,

I finally had time to look and didn't find anything suspicious.

So I dropped off the jet yesterday with the mechanic who checked a few details and found nothing.

Then he went behind, put his hand on the right near the pump and a few seconds later said to me: it's good, it's fixed.

He didn't want to tell me what he did.
Do you have an idea ?

I will test the jet on Saturday.

    Let's see ....

    Hello everyone,

    Problem fixed.

There was a water leak at the engine outlet. The water was going over the belt and all over the place.

The jet is finally working properly.

Thank you all for your help and advice given
